Ranked as the premier Mentoring Program in NYC, The MTAP Program provides Technical and Business Development Training in various topics related to SCA Construction Projects.

The MTAP team is comprised of business development professionals with experience in contract administration, strategy, business growth, and cost estimating. Under the direction of SCA’s Business Development Division (BDD), The Velez Organization manages the MTAP program by providing coaching, mentoring and training support needed for mentor firms to grow.

The NYC SCA Mentor Program centers on capacity building and providing its firms with the necessary tools to complete both within the SCA and other state and local agencies. This is accomplished by providing a high level of training that includes comprehensive workshops that teach contractors construction management via contract administrating, estimating, blueprint reading, project management with case studies, cash management, and general contract condition workshops.

The Velez Organization has been a proud contributor to the MTAP Program since 2018. If you are looking for more information regarding the program or are looking to sign up, please click here.
