Kingsboro Psychiatric Center Mixed-Use Project (Sparrow Square) is a multi-phase mixed-use redevelopment of approximately 7.2 acres of the former Kingsboro Psychiatric Center campus in Brooklyn, New York. Upon completion, the development will include approximately 1,081 permanently affordable and supportive residential units, more than 63,000 square feet of community facility and neighborhood-serving commercial space, replacement shelter facilities, publicly accessible open space, and supporting infrastructure as part of New York State’s Vital Brooklyn Initiative.

Velez Organization is a member of both the Development Team and Construction Team, supporting the planning and execution of the project through construction management, project coordination, quality assurance/quality control, scheduling, and field oversight while collaborating with the owner, design team, and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
